About the Oksa Silk
Oksa is a type of silk yarn made when two or more silkworms form a single cocoon together. Because the silk fibers from multiple silkworms become intertwined, the yarn develops natural variations in thickness, creating a distinctive slubbed and irregular texture. This unique texture gives Oksa fabric its characteristic natural, slightly uneven surface and visual depth.
