Please Note: Each lantern is individually handmade and the position of the Saekdong silk band may vary from the photos shown. While the colors and overall design remain the same, the placement of the Saekdong band is unique to each piece, making every lantern one of a kind.
Mosi (Korean ramie) is a traditional handwoven fabric made from the bast fibers of the ramie plant, a perennial member of the nettle family cultivated in Korea for centuries. Known for its long, silky fibers, ramie produces a textile that is exceptionally light, breathable, and cool to the touch, with a natural luster that grows softer over time while retaining remarkable strength.
